Bryan C. Sprankle, a retired Major (O-4) from the Marine Corps with 24 years of service, has a diverse and rich background in aviation, planning, training, and law enforcement. He was born and raised in Granite City, IL, and served in various roles, including Marine Corps Security Forces in Panama during Operation Just Cause, Platoon Commander at 2nd Low Altitude Air Defense (LAAD) Battalion, and Aviation Close Battle Coordinator in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Bryan's experience also extends to law enforcement, where he excelled as a drone pilot and later led the Bossier Sheriff’s Office Drone Unit. In 2020, he obtained his commercial drone pilot license and founded Insight Drone Services, LLC, focusing on training public agencies and publishing authoritative works like "Drones Operations for Public Agencies." His expertise has led to his current role as a public agency drone instructor, where he continues to share his knowledge and advance the use of drones in various sectors nationwide.
