High School Program
We aim to provide an innovative curriculum and hands-on experience. The program fosters our students' critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity utilizing drone technology.
Topics Covered:
Overview of FAA Rules & Regulations for Drone Technology
Preparation for Unmanned Aircraft Systems
Mechanics of the Drone and Equipment
Simulation Flight Training
Design Drone Obstacle Course & Budget
Competition Drone Obstacle Race at the end of school year
Accomplishments:
Learn to work in a team setting
Preparing roles for the team for end of year race
Become more confident with unique skills
Leadership, communication, time management.
Duration:
A complete school year
Twice a week for 2 hours each day
